My Design Process:
My approach goes something like this. I tour your home or business and talk to you about what’s working well, what’s frustrating you, and where you want help. I consider the whole space, assessing how it currently functions and what might make it work better. Then I work with you to make changes.
Often the first step involves moving things around. Before we buy anything, I like to “shop” your space to see if you already have something we can use. We may bring your mother’s vintage glassware collection out of storage and arrange it in your dining room. Or display your treasured family dictionary next to the similarly colored prints your grandmother brought back from Egypt. I might peruse local junk stores to find that one piece of furniture you need and customize it for you with new paint and hardware. We may swap rugs, rearrange furniture, or relocate artwork. If you’re missing a few key pieces, I can help you choose what to buy.
Whether you’ve been in the same spot for years or have just moved into a new space, I will curate and edit your belongings to showcase them in the best possible light. This combination of thrifty reuse and clever repurposing results in a space that’s uniquely yours and doesn’t break the bank—or the environment.

A personalized Pinterest board of inspirational images, paint colors, and furniture, art, and/or accessories to complete the look
The Consultation

You want to redo a space yourself and just need a bit of advice.
